The appealing course lavishly incorporates sea and mountain delicacies such as spiny lobster, abalone, duck, and sweetfish. Dishes are served along with explanations of the ingredients’ condition and origin, and the cooking that brings out the ingredients’ natural flavors is distinctive. By adjusting heat with charcoal grilling and teppan (iron griddle) cooking and by using local ingredients, each plate delivers surprise and satisfaction.

Usakawa Takataka

Originally from Fukushima Prefecture. Influenced by his skillful cook mother, he aspired to become a chef in junior high and learned the basics at Osaka Tsuji French Cuisine College. He honed teppanyaki techniques at Hilton Tokyo Bay and Hotel Nikko Tokyo, and also gained overseas experience. He was involved in the opening of Hotel Miracosta and later became independent. After running an auberge, he opened a restaurant in Kawagoe.

1. On Tuesdays and Fridays, both lunch and dinner are by reservation only. On other days, you may be seated for lunch or dinner without a reservation if seats are available. Due to ingredient availability, we recommend making a reservation by the day before. For same-day reservations, please call us directly at 090-3472-6383. 2. Infants and small children with strollers are welcome. Children in elementary school or older will be served the same menu as adults or a portion taken from the adult menu. For preschool children, we offer orange juice, meat, rice, miso soup, and ice cream for 1,100 yen; please be sure to inform us when making your reservation. Please note we cannot accommodate orders for this after you arrive on the day. 3. Please feel free to contact us about private bookings or operating outside regular business hours.
